Innovative marketing comes from people working together to synthesize new ideas and test them out. COLABORATORY is where that happens.
In response to today's creative environment of information sharing and community building, COLABORATORY gives student interns real-world experience working in different agency cultures and learning the varied skills it takes to bring innovative marketing ideas to life.
Interns put this knowledge to the test working in 2 teams on a competitive pitch for a hip, sustainable consumer brand.

COLABORATORY is a unique creative industry experience sponsored by the Portland Ad Federation, setting a precedent as the first multi-agency/multi-disciplinary internship.
Interns will be paired with 3 agencies based on their strengths and interests. They spend 2 intensely focused weeks at each agency learning from all disciplines. During the six weeks working at agencies across Portland, interns will also form 2 competing teams to develop a campaign pitch for a forward-thinking Portland brand with national appeal.
COLABORATORY gives interns a broad view of how agencies work, and at the same time lets them learn how to work together.
