11/01/11 Oregon Fruit Picks Pop Art for Branding

Founded in 1935, Oregon Fruit Products is an historic, family-owned and -operated company located in Salem, Oregon.

The Oregon brand is well-known to consumers for its striking black cans and distinctive typography, but more so for their contents: very high-quality fruits and berries from the Willamette Valley used for cooking and baking.

Their foodservice brand is less iconic, and the Pop Art team has begun a process aimed at capitalizing on the brand equity of the parent brand in reintroducing Berry Up!®, a new frozen fruit product used in beverages and desserts. Berry Up! extends Oregon Fruit Products' reputation for high-quality fruit and provides it in a fresh format that offers real, fresh fruit in a convenient, flavorful and versatile package for the restaurant industry.

The brand will be re-introduced with a new public web site and identity in early 2012.
