06/30/11Communications Coordinator
In this Part-Time position between 16-20 hours per week , you will support the customer communications team in a fast-paced environment on a variety of projects and events including: writing and/or routing and editing advertising and other communications, maintaining communications archives, assisting with creation and/or editing of presentations and event logistics.
Intern will provide a variety of support functions including:
* Writing and editing copy for online and print communications
* Project management support
* Brand reputation monitoring on social media sites
Effective verbal and written communications skills are essential. Coursework or a degree in Journalism or Communications preferred. The successful candidate will have experience using Photoshop to color correct, resize and crop images. Experience with social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Vimeo required. Solid understanding of PC applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Skill to use office equipment, fax machine, copier and printer, answering and transferring phone calls. Demonstrated time management skills. Discretion when working with sensitive/confidential information.
